Hi, I’m Russ – an FA- and FIFA-registered football agent.
I’ve been involved in football my entire life – as a player, a passionate fan, and now as an agent.The agency landscape has changed significantly in recent years. UK-based agents must now be registered with both the FA and FIFA, which requires passing rigorous exams. Only qualified individuals can legally represent players. You can therefore be confident that I am fully qualified to represent both adult players and those aged 16–18.
I hold an enhanced DBS check and have completed FIFA’s additional training on safeguarding and working with minors in football. You’ll find player-written testimonials on our website that give a genuine insight into what you can expect from me and the level of service I provide.
Over the years I’ve experienced both the highs and lows of the game alongside my players. I take particular pride in supporting them through adversity – whether that’s being released from an academy, suffering a serious injury, or facing other setbacks. These are some of the toughest moments a player can endure, and I make sure I’m there for you when it matters most.
The relationships I build with players and their families are always professional, yet I genuinely regard my players as friends. Many continue to re-sign with us year after year and regularly recommend Beeston Sports to others – that speaks volumes.
I’ve also developed strong, trusted relationships with managers, coaches, and clubs over time. I’m regularly approached for player recommendations, and I believe every club and manager I’ve dealt with would confirm that I conduct all interactions with professionalism, honesty, and complete confidentiality.
Sometimes the most important thing is simply showing up – attending matches at any level to support my players. I’m proud that every player receives the same level of dedication and care, regardless of the tier, status, or whether they play in the men’s or women’s game.
The women’s game has been a huge passion of mine for many years. Those who know me will confirm I was attending women’s matches long before it became mainstream. My female players know I have a deep understanding of their game and its unique considerations. I stay up to date with the latest research on injury risks specific to women, as well as practical improvements – both on and off the pitch – that help create a better environment for female players to thrive.
I’m a firm believer in the continued growth of the women’s game, both in terms of professionalism and visibility in the years ahead.
